I have a story in The Hairpin today. But you’ve probably already heard it if you’ve met me in real life.

The motivations for moving here included being “away from it all,” which, technically, costs nothing. But they also included being able to explore on the weekends, having a space to garden and enjoy our outdoor property, and owning a dog.
